Introduction to Metamorph
Metamorph was first introduced in Path of Exile 3.9, it introduced the NPC Tane Octavius to the game. Tane tasks exiles with gathering parts of monsters to merge them and create a “Metamorph” monster, as the name suggests the monster morphs into different forms relevant to the monsters you selected to use to create it.
Catalysts
Metamorph introduced Catalysts to the game which allows players to add quality to all jewellery types, the effects the quality grants depend solely on the catalyst used:
